Abstract
TURTLE simulates single-pass charged-particle beam lines and
spectrometers. The program includes geometric terms and all-order
chromatic effects for individual quadrupoles, bending magnets,
sextupoles and solenoids. The code accumulates effects regardless of
order. The user can specify one- and two-dimensional histograms of
particle coordinates at any beamline location. This program uses
an input format that is very similar to the input formats used in
the programs DECAY TURTLE, TRANSPORT and MAD. All four programs use
the same format for the beamline specifications.
